About The Position

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Senior Job Captain to join their growth-oriented team. This role supports the delivery of innovative design projects to diverse clients, leading project coordination with consultants and internal teams. The Senior Job Captain will contribute to all phases of design, provide construction administration support, and utilize technical expertise and knowledge of building codes to produce high-quality construction documents and ensure smooth project execution. Requirements

5+ years of experience in the field of Architecture
Experience working on industrial or commercial projects strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
Revit skills
Knowledge of Newforma
Knowledge of building codes
Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents

Responsibilities

Lead the project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project (typical; Site Planning, Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Document and Construction phase services) to deliver a set of contract documents that will be used for permits and construction.
Provide AutoCAD/Revit support for the preparation of project documents.
Utilize the company’s resource groups for design, preparation of design and construction documents.
Assist the Project Manager with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).
Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of project schedules, and review of budgets.
Provide assistance for submittments for jurisdiction agencies.
Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members.
