About The Position
We are a design collaborative seeking a driven and enthusiastic Job Captain based in LA who exudes positivity and approaches work with a collaborative style. We believe the best solutions are co-authored and that design is an iterative process, valuing dialogue and debate. Requirements
- Professional Degree in Architecture
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 3 years of recent design office experience
- Experience with technical projects
- Strong organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- On track for licensure preferred
Responsibilities
- Ability to graphically communicate an idea quickly and effectively, backed by strong technical capabilities regarding building construction and technologies, millwork detailing, and consultant coordination
- Participation in the full design process from conceptual design through Construction Administration as a member of the project team
- Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction
- Prepare design development and construction document packages with project teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors
