About The Position

The Senior Java Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain high-performing, scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices architecture. The role includes analyzing user requirements, defining application objectives and functionality, and aligning application design with business goals. The engineer will develop and test software, troubleshoot technical problems, document designs and user guidance, recommend improvements to existing Java infrastructure, develop multimedia applications, and pursue ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and C++.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Good exposure to cloud technologies.
• Experience designing and building scalable, distributed applications.
• Experience in eCommerce projects.
• Ability to deliver on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in product development.
• Experience with Gitflow, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with Atlassian products such as BitBucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS.
