About The Position

Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is a technology consulting Services company based in Florida. We provide a wide array of experienced business and IT professionals supporting clients from solution design to implementation and support. We specialize in professional IT consulting services, IT Staffing, Business/IT Strategy, Business Process Blueprints, Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Transformation. This role is for a Java /Python Developer to support the API Platform implementation. The Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for building web applications using Python, Java, and many other cutting-edge technologies. The company has shifted to adopting SAFe and encourages contractors trained in SAFe. Contractors are requested to have their cameras available and on the majority of the time, and are expected to embrace self-management and self-organization within their Agile team regarding iteration commitments, capacity planning, and capacity allocation. The role requires the ability to come to DC on a need basis and attend important SAFe ceremonies like PI onsite.

Requirements

• Strong Knowledge on Application Development using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with various methodologies like Waterfall, Agile/Scrum.
• Expertise in working with various J2EE technologies including Hibernate, Servlets, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, SOAP and Rest based Web services, Concurrent programming.
• Experience in using Java coding in combination with AWS native services, Lambda, S3, Kinesis Stream.
• Excellent team player with good analytical, strategic planning and interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic and self-starter.
• Knowledge of Lambda, ECS, Step Functions, EC2, ECS Fargate, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Docker, CloudFormation, Angular, IONIC.

Nice To Haves

• Trained in SAFe.
• Desired knowledge in any API gateway solution.
