The Senior Full Stack Java Developer designs, builds, and delivers secure, high-performing enterprise applications and services that support critical business capabilities and improve the client experience. The developer partners with product owners, architects, business partners, and other engineers to turn complex business needs into scalable technical solutions, owning work from analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. As a senior individual contributor, the developer leads end-to-end feature and service delivery, guides technical direction for moderately to highly complex work, decomposes narratives into well-scoped tasks, and promotes clean code, secure coding, automated testing, and reliable CI/CD delivery. The role includes mentoring engineers through code reviews, requirement clarification, explanation of system flows, and coaching. The developer also works with UX experts, delivery managers, and scrum leaders on designs, estimates, risk identification, and mitigation plans. The role uses GenAI coding assistants throughout the software development lifecycle for implementation, refactoring, testing, reviews, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation. The developer applies engineering judgment, validation, and prompt-engineering practices, and helps shape team standards for AI-assisted development. The position calls for a curious, collaborative engineer who works effectively in Agile/Scrum environments, adapts to new technologies, and delivers business outcomes.

Requirements

At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience delivering scalable, enterprise-grade Java applications and services.
At least 8 years of hands-on front-end design and development experience, preferably using Angular or React.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 8 years of professional-level Java web and service development experience with Java/Spring and Spring Boot.
At least 6 years of experience developing microservices and REST APIs, with working knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Kafka.
At least 6 years of professional-level front-end experience with HTML, JSP, NPM/webpack build tooling, and Angular.
At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitHub, applied to build, test, and deployment automation.
At least 5 years of experience as a scrum team member in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning.
At least 4 years of experience leading technical teams and partnering with architects and product teams to create comprehensive designs and roadmaps for complex systems.
Demonstrated exposure to or hands-on experience with GenAI coding assistants in day-to-day SDLC workflows, applying engineering judgment and validation; practical familiarity with GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is expected.
Working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec-driven development using low-level design artifacts such as class structures, API contracts, and data models, custom instructions, and prompt engineering; ability to establish team practices for AI-assisted development.
Strong grasp of secure coding practices and familiarity with application security concepts and tools.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and build partnerships across functions and organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud-native application development and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Playwright, and agentic development patterns to improve engineering efficiency and software delivery.
Hands-on experience with application performance engineering, observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or PCF Metrics.
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and related automation frameworks such as Cucumber and Selenium.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) certification or equivalent cloud certification.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deliver secure, high-performing enterprise applications and services.
Translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions in partnership with product owners, architects, business partners, and engineers.
Own work from analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
Lead end-to-end delivery of features and services and guide technical direction for moderately to highly complex work.
Decompose narratives into well-scoped work.
Champion clean code, secure coding practices, automated testing, and reliable CI/CD delivery.
Mentor junior engineers by leading code reviews, clarifying requirements, explaining end-to-end system flows, and coaching.
Collaborate with UX experts, delivery managers, and scrum leaders to shape designs, provide sizing estimates, identify risks, and establish mitigation plans.
Use GenAI coding assistants across the SDLC for implementation, refactoring, unit testing, code reviews, scripting and automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Apply engineering judgment, validation, and prompt-engineering practices to AI-assisted development and help establish team-level standards.
