P1 - GP - Senior Java Developer
About The Position
Atlas Systems is seeking a Senior Java Developer with current, hands-on Spring Boot experience. The role is full-time on a staff augmentation basis and reports to the Senior Software Architect. The developer will work across client engagements and serve as a central coordinator and representative of Atlas in client interactions. The position is based in New Jersey, with work from the office or hybrid as applicable. Team members must be available during U.S. working hours for Agile ceremonies and other team commitments; outside those commitments, they may work during local business hours. The team follows a weekly sprint cadence.
Requirements
- Typically 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery.
- Current, hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Java, Spring Data, Spring REST, Swagger, and Postman.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, and transactions.
- Experience with JUnit 5 and REST Assured.
- Experience with manual UI testing and automated backend testing.
- Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with Datadog.
- Customer-facing experience and client account collaboration.
- Experience with Agile team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on software development and delivery, including coding and business analysis.
- Collaborate with customer teams and client accounts.
- Coordinate across engagements and represent Atlas in client interactions.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, escalations, production deployments, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Complete daily code check-ins and reviews.
