About The Position

Wipro Limited is seeking a Senior Java Developer with proven hands-on software development experience. This role involves modern application development, leveraging in-depth knowledge of modern application architecture principles, and a clear understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Principles using Java. The developer will utilize practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for enhancing development workflows and possess proficiency in Microservices frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot), Event-Driven Services, and Cloud-Native Application Development. The position requires multiple years of experience on Service Oriented and Microservices architectures, including REST and GraphQL implementations. Additionally, full-stack proficiency is expected, with demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of robust web applications. This includes strong expertise in front-end development using contemporary JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React), HTML5, and CSS, as well as solid experience in back-end development using languages such as Java or Python. Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, with a deep understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), particularly Oracle, is essential. The role also involves API Development, with proven capability in designing, developing, and implementing high-performance RESTful APIs. Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and tools for building and deploying code is required, with experience with AWS being a significant advantage. Practical experience working within Agile development methodologies and utilizing project management tools such as JIRA is necessary. The ability to develop and automate comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality, along with a solid understanding and practical experience with code versioning tools like GitHub Enterprise, are also key requirements.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, with a deep understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), particularly Oracle.
• Proven capability in designing, developing, and implementing high-performance RESTful APIs leveraging appropriate frameworks and technologies.
• Proficiency with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools for building (e.g., Maven, Gradle) and deploying code (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift).
• Practical experience working within Agile development methodologies and utilizing project management tools such as JIRA.
• Ability to develop and automate comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with code versioning tools, including GitHub Enterprise.
• Core Java.
• Experience: 5-8 Years.
