About The Position
Design and build backend services for retail platforms handling catalog management, order processing, inventory, and pricing. Ensure scalability for peak shopping events and integrate with cloud-native retail solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years backend experience with Java, Spring, and cloud-native architectures.
- Expertise in event-driven systems for retail (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes, and observability tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with retail ERP integration, OMS, and real-time analytics.
- Familiarity with Azure Retail Accelerator or Google Cloud Retail API.
Responsibilities
- Develop microservices for order orchestration, inventory sync, and promotions.
- Implement real-time pricing and stock availability using Java/Spring Boot.
- Integrate with POS systems, payment gateways, and loyalty platforms.
- Deploy services on Azure (AKS, Service Bus, Cosmos DB) or GCP (GKE, Pub/Sub, Firestore).
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance during seasonal spikes.
