About The Position
TekWissen is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a 12-month temporary assignment in McLean, Virginia. The role involves delivering end-to-end projects and developing applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. The developer will work with AWS-deployed applications and services, build and test solutions using tools such as Playwright, and contribute within Agile frameworks. The position also calls for applying DevOps practices and using generative AI tools for code generation and analysis.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of Core Java development experience.
- Familiarity with Java 8 or higher.
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices development.
- Experience in end-to-end testing using tools such as Playwright.
- AWS and Angular experience.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile frameworks, including Agile/Scrum development.
- Experience with AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Experience working with AWS-deployed applications.
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to use generative AI tools for code generation and analysis.
Responsibilities
