About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining middle-tier services and client-facing web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development and a background in .NET, applying the latest technologies to solve business requirements and provide strategic technical direction. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of IT experience as a Java Developer
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills for software design and development
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
- Prior .NET and .NET Core experience
- Experience with Co-Pilot
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, test, support, maintain and debug Middle tier services as well as client facing Web applications
- Utilize latest development technologies to solve for business requirements
- Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives and technology stack
- Represent technical team in SDLC for Agile project methodologies
- Collaborate with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget
- Monitor and enhance the stability and performance of the existing applications
