About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join client for an on-site opportunity. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced enterprise environment and collaborating closely with architects, QA, DevOps, product teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 or newer versions.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience developing REST APIs.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Good understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.
- Strong debugging and production-support skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of distributed systems.
- Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech, or other enterprise environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java.
- Develop backend services using Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
- Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code.
- Participate in system design and technical architecture discussions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Implement authentication and authorization using technologies such as OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Work with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments through Kubernetes.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.
