About The Position

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of experience to build and maintain scalable Java microservices in a fast-paced environment. You will work independently on complex features, collaborate with teams and business stakeholders, and ensure reliable, high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices , Apache CXF , Jackson , JUnit/Mockito , AWS DynamoDB , Docker/Kubernetes (EKS) , Datadog/Elasticsearch , and CI/CD (Harness/TeamCity) .
• Proven debugging and proactive issue prevention skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• AWS Certification or DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Spring Boot microservices using JDK 11/17 , JAX-RS (Apache CXF) , and Jackson JSON/XML for robust APIs.
• Implement data layers with Spring Data DynamoDB and optimize for performance.
• Build event-driven systems using Kafka, EMS, MQ, or Solace .
• Write tests using JUnit and Mockito , applying Java/J2EE practices like annotations, reflection, Lombok, and Spring MVC.
• Deploy via Docker on AWS EKS Kubernetes with AWS ALB , using Harness/TeamCity for CI/CD.
• Monitor with Datadog and Elasticsearch ; handle bug fixing , log analysis, and root-cause resolution.
• Participate in daily scrum calls , refine requirements, track progress, and deliver on time while preventing issues.
• Use GitHub for version control (check-in/out, PRs) and IntelliJ/Eclipse for development.
