About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend / Microservices Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications built using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, event-driven architecture, and AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience building scalable backend services, REST APIs, Kafka-based event processing, batch applications, document/file processing solutions, and cloud integrations. Experience working with healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other enterprise applications involving sensitive data is preferred.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience building scalable backend services, REST APIs, Kafka-based event processing, batch applications, document/file processing solutions, and cloud integrations.
• 6+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on Java backend development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or another enterprise messaging/event-streaming platform.
• Experience developing and supporting production-grade enterprise applications.
• Experience with PDF generation and processing (iText / PDFBox or similar).
• Experience with large-volume document and file processing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other enterprise applications involving sensitive data.

Responsibilities
