About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Microservices Developer to join our team for a 6-month contract. The role is based in Plano, TX, and requires an onsite presence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience, with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. This position involves designing and implementing technical architectures, building and consuming RESTful APIs, and developing scalable Spring Batch jobs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, contribute to architectural discussions, and deploy/monitor cloud-native applications in AWS. Proficiency in CI/CD tools, code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and production support are essential.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience
Java
Spring Boot
Microservices
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, etc.)
Experience with monitoring tools, logging and production support
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to write clean, efficient modular code following industry best practices

Responsibilities
