About The Position

The Senior ITS Project Manager will work with business and technical stakeholders (namely, Business SMEs, Product team, Architects, Developers, Analytics team, and senior leaders) to plan and execute programs, projects, and business requests for WelbeHealth. This role will be accountable for end-to-end project execution, and will generate and present project metrics and status reports at a defined frequency. The Senior ITS Project Manager will cross-collaborate across various functional teams to manage interdependencies, identify issues and risks, and take necessary steps for remediation and mitigation. This role will manage multiple project teams of highly skilled professionals, as well as coach appropriate stakeholders on project management processes. This role is different because the Senior ITS Project Manager at WelbeHealth: Directly supports WelbeHealth’s mission to enable vulnerable seniors to live with greater independence and dignity, aligning technical execution with compassionate, participant-centered care outcomes. Operates at the intersection of technology, clinical operations, and analytics, driving enterprise-scale initiatives across multiple functional teams while shaping processes and systems in a rapidly expanding, innovation-focused healthcare organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • CSM required
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of IT Project Management using waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the healthcare or health plan industry
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet
  • Experience managing multiple projects or scrum teams with end-to-end ownership, which includes high level roadmap, sprint roadmap, release management, Implementation Management
  • Experience playing various roles such as Project Manager, Scrum Master, Release Manager, Implementation Manager
  • Experience executing projects using waterfall and scrum/kanban methodologies

  • PMP, SAFe Certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee program and project execution by leading multiple project teams and collaborating with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Business, Technology, Finance, Analytics, and Operations, as well as ensure projects are delivered on schedule, meet quality standards, and adhere to budget constraints
  • Partner with project teams and leadership to develop and enhance processes that promote seamless cross-functional collaboration and efficient execution of complex programs and projects
  • Strategically plan, define, and implement the program and project roadmap in alignment with stakeholders, driving continuous value
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendor teams, for successful project execution
  • Lead 2 to 3 projects or scrum teams concurrently, ensuring that interdependencies are identified and effectively managed
  • Develop and oversee the comprehensive delivery plan, ensuring effective communication with relevant stakeholders and partners, as well as identify and recommend process improvements that align with business objectives and project requirements
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including Demo sessions, and facilitate participation by both internal and external stakeholders
