About The Position

The Senior IT Technical Specialist provides onsite technical support and ongoing maintenance for enterprise IT systems and equipment. This role supports workstations, servers, network infrastructure, AV technologies, cloud-based systems, and scientific laboratory environments while partnering closely with IT leadership and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable day-to-day operations and exceptional end-user support.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in IT Support/Infrastructure within an enterprise organization
  • Advanced experience with Active Directory and/or EntraID administration
  • Strong experience with MS InTune, endpoint management, and MDM solutions
  • Advanced Windows and macOS administration experience
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN environments, VPNs, and network troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat detection, and incident response
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities across hardware, software, peripherals, and enterprise systems
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar enterprise ticketing platforms
  • Ability to support enterprise collaboration tools, AV systems, and digital signage solutions
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Service Management teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality IT services
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues following corporate standards and ITIL best practices
  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors for hardware repairs, software updates, and support coordination
  • Administer and manage users, groups, endpoint accounts, licenses, and security policies
  • Provide onsite and remote support for scientific laboratories, including integration of instrumentation with data management systems
  • Support workstations, servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure environments
  • Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot potential issues alongside infrastructure teams
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and hardware configuration records
  • Partner with executives and PhD-level scientists on special projects and technical initiatives
  • Participate in after-hours and on-call support rotations as required
