About The Position

The Senior IT Systems Developer designs, develops, customizes, integrates, and supports enterprise business applications across FC Industries. The role contributes to ERP development and business systems strategy, with a focus on Epicor Kinetic, Microsoft Power Platform, workflow automation, custom applications, integrations, and reporting. The position supports the company’s manufacturing operations and business growth by connecting technology and building solutions across the organization. Applicants must reside in or be willing to commute to the Dayton, Ohio area; relocation is not available.

Requirements

At least seven years of ERP development experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to work supporting Department of Defense programs and applicable regulatory requirements.
Must currently reside in the Dayton, Ohio area or be willing to commute to Dayton-area facilities; relocation assistance is not available.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience developing, integrating, or supporting enterprise business applications.
Experience developing solutions for ERP platforms such as Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Infor, Plex, or NetSuite.
Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, including application design, workflow development, connectors, environment management, and solution deployment.
Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, REST APIs, JSON, XML, web services, authentication methods, and system integration patterns.
Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical teams, business users, leadership, and external vendors.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate across departments, and deliver maintainable solutions with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with Epicor and Microsoft Power Platform is highly desirable.
Experience across multiple ERP or business systems is strongly preferred.
C# and .NET development experience, particularly for ERP customizations, integrations, utilities, or business applications, is preferred.
Epicor experience is strongly preferred, including Application Studio, BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, reports, and integration capabilities.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Epicor Kinetic customizations, including Application Studio configurations, BPM directives, BAQs, dashboards, reports, and related technical solutions.
Develop and maintain business applications and automated workflows using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and other approved low-code or traditional development tools.
Design, build, and support integrations among ERP, Microsoft 365, manufacturing, financial, customer, supplier, and other third-party systems using APIs, web services, middleware, and data exchange processes.
Develop custom applications, utilities, and system extensions to address business needs not met by standard application functionality.
Participate in ERP upgrades, implementations, migrations, testing, and deployment activities across multiple divisions and business systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, workflow, and data-related issues; coordinate with vendors and internal resources when escalation is required.
