About The Position

Join Uline as a Senior IT Purchasing Specialist, where you’ll own procurement strategy and vendor partnerships that keep our business running. Use data and market insight to optimize spend, guide sourcing decisions and ensure our North American teams have the technology they need to succeed. Uline’s 450+ person in-house tech team builds and supports the custom systems that run our business. The team owns and creates solutions that operate at scale, supporting operations from warehouse management to e-commerce.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, vendor relations and contract negotiations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Own procurement strategy for IT hardware, software and services, aligning sourcing decisions with business goals.
• Lead vendor relationships, including negotiations, contract optimization and performance management.
• Analyze technology spend and market trends, leveraging reporting and dashboards to inform sourcing strategy and drive cost savings.
• Oversee and continuously improve procurement processes, including purchase order workflows, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with IT and business leaders across North America to align purchasing priorities and influence decisions through data-driven insights.
