The Data and AI team is responsible for enterprise data products and assets, AI, and underpinning capabilities like integrations, data & analytics platforms, governance, quality, data interfaces, external system integration, and advanced analytics. The Hyperautomation team, a part of Data & AI, uses advanced technologies to automate business and functional processes, driving Digital Transformation globally by decreasing cost, risk, and lead time while increasing efficiency, quality, and productivity. Technologies used include Intelligent Process Automation, Process Mining, conversational and agentic AI, and machine learning. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization (for roles below Principal level)

  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create and drive the vision for the Intelligent Process Automation & Mining capability.
  • Deliver key input to the product roadmap and backlog.
  • Ensure requirements and acceptance criteria (business, functional, non-functional) are incorporated.
  • Lead release communication and stakeholder management.
  • Act as the driver and subject-matter expert for Intelligent Process Automation and Process Mining.
  • Shape the roadmap and deliverables under limited supervision.
  • Coach and review the work of more junior specialists and partners.
  • Specialize in analyzing, designing, prioritizing, and implementing IT products, platforms, and/or services.
  • Leverage understanding of business strategy and needs to create a vision and roadmap for IT products, platforms, and/or services.
  • Ensure technologies add value and can scale Medtronic’s use of a given IT solution across various businesses, regions, and functions.
  • Drive the vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Intelligent Process Automation & Mining capability, translating business strategy and needs into prioritized IT Features, technologies, and services.
  • Proactively engage with Medtronic business and Global IT partners to identify and define opportunities where the application of Hyperautomation & AI can advance strategic goals and objectives.
  • Define and manage requirements and acceptance criteria and ensure they are incorporated into delivery.
  • Analyze, select, and influence modification of systems in partnership with platform architects and engineering teams.
  • Gather, review, assess, and partner to drive new ideas and projects through global portfolio processes.
  • Ensure solution and architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.
  • Ensure information is protected in accordance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards.
  • Coordinate delivery of projects and services to the enterprise, acting as the primary contact for capability initiatives.
  • Research and create proof of value for related technology industry and market trends and determine their potential advantage and impact to Medtronic.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other specialists and partners within the capability.
  • Implement a continuous-improvement mindset and methodologies to increase platform value, quality, and stability.
  • Innovate and drive change management, transforming individual automation capabilities toward a synergistic solution and ensuring enterprise re-use.
