Spire is seeking an experienced Senior IT Network Engineer to own and support its corporate and back-office network environment. Reporting to the Global IT Director, this hands-on role is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, reliability, and lifecycle management of the corporate network. The engineer will support offices, remote users, corporate services, and back-office systems, collaborating with Security, Infrastructure, Facilities, and other technical teams. The role covers corporate routing, firewalls, VPN and remote access, office-to-office connectivity, DNS, wireless networking, network authentication, and related infrastructure. The engineer will modernize legacy and bespoke network services, improve resiliency, and reduce operational dependency on individual subject-matter experts. The position calls for proactive ownership of complex technical problems from architecture through implementation and ongoing operation, along with disciplined documentation, change management, monitoring, lifecycle management, and follow-through. Spire operates a hybrid work model; this position requires working in the office at least three days per week. Access to US export-controlled software or technology may be required; Spire will arrange necessary licenses if needed.
