As the Senior IT Manager (Global), you will be responsible for leading the company’s global IT function across Canada, USA, and the UK. You will be responsible for developing and executing a secure, scalable, and high-performance IT environment supporting defense, engineering, and manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing IT activities across a rapidly growing, multi-site organization, ensuring systems are secure, integrated, and aligned with business and defense requirements. Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in IT leadership or management roles
  • Strong experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud systems, and enterprise platforms
  • Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments (e.g., defense, manufacturing)
  • Experience managing IT contractors and service providers
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Experience with CMMC, NIST, ISO27001 or similar frameworks
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Deel)
  • Experience supporting multi-country operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Sentinel
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience or certification with ITSM frameworks, ex: ITIL
  • Experience with on-prem Microsoft server management (AD DS, GPO, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strategic IT roadmap (near-, mid-, and long-term)
  • Ensure world-class cybersecurity posture including CMMC, ITAR, and related requirements
  • Manage and improve IT service delivery with strong ticket resolution performance
  • Lead implementation and management of SharePoint, ERP, HRIS systems, and integrations
  • Develop and implement AI initiatives across the business with appropriate controls
  • Manage IT contractors and vendors with clear scopes, budgets, and deliverables
  • Lead IT projects (system implementations, integrations, infrastructure upgrades)
  • Develop and manage IT operating and capital budgets
  • Ensure alignment of IT systems and policies across global offices
  • Document all IT systems to ensure resilience and continuity
  • Enable secure access to data and support real-time reporting for leadership
  • Build a process-driven IT function not dependent on individuals
  • Present IT systems and cybersecurity posture to customers and stakeholders
  • Provide training and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Identify issues and present solutions with cost, schedule, and risk trade-offs
