About The Position

TestPros delivers innovative independent IT assessment solutions to critical challenges facing the nation and the world. We support the U.S. Federal Government and Commercial clients within the continental USA. TestPros is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure. TestPros is seeking Senior Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Specialists. This is a consulting role for future projects anticipated to start in late 2026 or early 2027.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years’ experience performing Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) with state or federal clients, or equivalent
Minimum 4 years’ experience with IEEE 1012 IL4 assessments
Knowledge of and familiarity with IV&V requirements and with industry standards for IEEE 1012, CMMI and PMBOK
Superb oral and written communication skills, organizational, interpersonal, and analytic capabilities
Team player who effectively works well with clients and colleagues at all levels
Technical writing samples will be required

Nice To Haves

Experience with Agile methodology is preferred
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Ability to gather, interpret, and apply leading industry and Government practice to support review of operations
Conduct reviews and assessments with primary focus on the following areas: Software Development Processes, Configuration integrity and release-readiness evidence, software development planning and process implementation, software artifact quality and completeness, requirements traceability and consistency across software lifecycle artifacts, configuration integrity and release-readiness evidence, verification evidence and discrepancy/corrective-action closure, Communications Management, Configuration Management, Integration Management, Data Oversight and Planning, Cutover Management, Testing and Validation
Correctly interpret and consistently follow the Program’s defined policies, processes, and procedures.
Develop technical documentation detailing IV&V findings.
Ensure documentation is well written, accurate, complete, and thorough.
Communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
