About The Position

The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the administration and support of various IT environments. This includes managing Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and hybrid Microsoft 365), and other Microsoft 365 services such as Entra ID, Intune, and Office 365 applications. The role also involves maintaining, patching, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux server environments, supporting Windows-based client systems, and administering virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi. Management of compute infrastructure (Cisco UCS), network infrastructure (Cisco firewalls and switches), and storage systems (Dell PowerStore and Isilon) is also a key part of the role. Additionally, the engineer will support and maintain AWS environments, monitor system performance, availability, and security, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain accurate system documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 6–10 years of experience in infrastructure or systems administration
  • Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or fast‑paced, multi‑environment IT organization
  • Demonstrated ability to support a broad range of technologies rather than a single specialized platform
  • Hands‑on experience with: Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
  • Hands‑on experience with: Entra ID and identity & access management
  • Hands‑on experience with: Cisco UCS environments
  • Strong experience with: Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Strong experience with: Microsoft 365 and hybrid Exchange deployments
  • Strong experience with: VMware virtualization technologies
  • Proven experience managing Windows and Linux systems
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (switching, routing, firewalls)
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Cisco)

Responsibilities
