About The Position

Suno is building the world's first creative entertainment platform where everyone can experience the joy of making music. As a Senior IT Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and building the core IT systems that power Suno's operations. This role involves working on identity, endpoint management, networking, and office IT infrastructure, collaborating closely with various departments to ensure scalability and efficiency across four US offices. The position focuses on 0-to-1 work, creating foundational capabilities for rapid growth.

Requirements

  • 7–9 years of progressive IT engineering experience, including time at a high-growth company.
  • Demonstrated breadth across the IT stack (identity, endpoint, SaaS administration, networking, office IT) with the depth to operate independently and make sound architectural calls.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to take problems from definition through delivery.
  • Strong written communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Learning agility to quickly pick up new platforms and technologies, comfort with figuring things out for the first time, and willingness to ask for help.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with a modern IdP (e.g., Okta, Google IAM, or equivalent) and SCIM-based provisioning.
  • Experience with IGA tooling (e.g., Lumos, SailPoint, Saviynt, or comparable) and joiner/mover/leaver automation.
  • Modern MDM experience (e.g., Iru, Jamf, Jumpcloud, Intune).
  • Networking and A/V engineering experience in a multi-office environment.
  • Experience partnering with EDR / MDR providers (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Expel, Arctic Wolf, or similar).
  • Experience as the first or early IT engineering hire at a growing company.
  • Comfort with at least one scripting language (Python, TypeScript, or Bash) and config-as-code approaches to managing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Build identity and access management systems, including configuring single sign-on, automating joiner/mover/leaver workflows, running access reviews, and automating ad hoc access requests.
  • Manage the endpoint fleet by migrating and expanding MDM systems for streamlined onboarding, off-boarding, vulnerability management, and compliance.
  • Administer the SaaS estate, including configuring, hardening, and managing Google Workspace, Slack, and other SaaS tools.
  • Ensure the office tech stack is robust, including performant and secure wired, wireless, and zero-trust VPN networks, and reliable A/V and videoconferencing across four offices.
  • Scale IT support by writing runbooks and knowledge articles to enable AI-powered self-service and delegate Tier 0 troubleshooting to office managers.
  • Integrate automation and AI into workflows to reduce toil and allow the team to focus on creative fulfillment.
