About The Position

The Senior IT Business Systems Analyst serves as a technical administrator for banking systems and applications as well as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to deliver effective, scalable solutions. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into clear requirements, supporting solution design, and ensuring successful delivery through testing and release coordination in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of technical documentation methods and procedures preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of data platforms and testing software solutions
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze problems and work from issue identification through resolution quickly and methodically.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple project deliverables of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years' experience in Systems Analysis or enterprise application support.
  • Experience in core banking systems (FIS, Jack Henry, Fiserv).
  • Familiarity with digital banking platforms (Q2, Alkami)
  • Exposure to Power Platform or automation tools

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, document, and prioritize business and system requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Facilitate virtual workshops and stakeholder discussions
  • Develop and execute test plans and support UAT
  • Track and resolve defects and validate outcomes
  • Collaborate with IT, PMO, Training, and Operations teams
  • Review vendor releases and assess system impacts
  • Support production issue resolution
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department.
  • Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
