Mayo Clinic is seeking a Senior Application Analyst for the EHR Technology Domain, specifically supporting the Patient Engagement Team. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing Epic tools like MyChart, Welcome, and Bedside to improve patient-provider interactions. The analyst will ensure seamless integration, usability, and compliance with organizational standards, collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that empower patients and streamline workflows. The position involves supporting software programs, understanding the business impact of IT, and providing analysis for installed systems and new implementations. The role requires systems analysis, design, build, testing, and implementation for specific modules or applications, acting as a liaison between business and technical areas. Building rapport with customers to understand their needs is crucial. The analyst will research requests to determine scope and impact, validate requirements and solutions, and maintain in-depth knowledge of existing systems and vendor application certifications. They will be responsible for designing, developing, or modifying applications using vendor or internal tools, and validating data integrity. The role includes working on strategic projects with a Project Manager and independently managing small- to mid-sized operational projects. The analyst will work across multiple departments, create and evaluate test plans, guide less experienced analysts, and provide training. Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging technologies and enterprise architecture is also key. On-call support may be required.
