The Senior Systems Administrator develops and maintains all systems, applications, security and network configurations. Responsible for installing new software releases, system upgrades, installing patches and resolving server and desktop related issues. Troubleshoots network performance issues and maintains a disaster recovery plan to include routine backup and recovery. Engineer solutions, research, and plans for adoption of new technologies to provide a competitive advantage to the company. Establishes practices, procedures, and concepts related to Information Technology as it relates to the organization. Administers Collateral, Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) information systems (IS). Handles system administration and cyber security such as antivirus maintenance and patching for Classified systems, as well as end-user system support for Unclassified systems. This is a dual-role position supporting both the Classified systems and Unclassified Enterprise.
