Senior Investments Analyst, Treasury

First National Bank of Omaha•Omaha, NE
•Hybrid

About The Position

The Senior Investments Analyst works in close partnership with the Senior Director – Investments to manage the bank’s securities portfolio. The role supports the bank’s investment and risk management process by providing market intelligence, analytics, and strategic insights. The analyst selects securities, with direction from the portfolio manager, that align with the bank’s balance sheet management objectives. This involves weighing relative value against interest rate risk, liquidity, and credit constraints. The role monitors markets across commercial and residential mortgages, agency and non-agency securities, municipal securities, and securitized products. It also contributes to credit analysis and ongoing portfolio reviews, using independent judgment to form views and identify potential risks. The analyst may conduct due diligence and monitoring independently or with the Senior Director – Investments on derivatives and hedging, renewable production and low-income housing tax credits, bank-owned life insurance (BOLI), and other less routine investments. The position also maintains and refines a macroeconomic perspective as new information emerges and may present economic updates to internal stakeholders. The position is anticipated to be hybrid, with in-person collaboration three days per week and remote flexibility two days per week. Work location may change based on business needs. Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization and must not require future sponsorship.
