About The Position

The Senior Account Manager, Investment Specialist drives traditional & alternative product conversations, placements, discretionary allocations, and servicing discussions across a broad client segment of professional buyers. As a subject matter expert in strategic relations, this job seeks out co-product build opportunities working with sponsor firm and the organization's global product management team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive public and private product conversations and secure placements across a broad client segment of professional buyers
  • Possess excellent knowledge of prioritized Nuveen products and capabilities inclusive of alternatives
  • Encourage team continuity and engagement while advocating broader firm priorities
  • Serve as primary point of engagement with manager research and firm discretionary teams with a focus on building high quality, sustainable relationships
  • Identify near-term opportunities related to sponsor’s lineup of investment options
  • Seek out co-product build opportunities working with sponsor firm and Nuveen Product Management
  • Coordinate with Head of Investment Specialists Team Head on needed affiliate level interactions/product focuses
  • Potential for personnel management responsibilities over time
