About The Position

As an Investment Specialist, you will recommend solutions to help members achieve their personal financial objectives, specializing in investment planning. You will provide knowledgeable and friendly advice on investment options, promote and sell investment products and services, including third-party mutual funds, and offer effective portfolio management. You will also establish and maintain strong member relationships, contribute to the growth of the investment portfolio by meeting individual goals and developing business opportunities, and monitor investment renewals, ensuring members are informed of options and assisted with renewals.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of financial services industry experience
Minimum of three years of sales, service and investment administration and/or sales experience
Active and in good standing Mutual Funds License
Advanced member service and sales skills
Excellent organization and time management skills

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary education with emphasis in financial planning or management would be preferred

Responsibilities

Recommend solutions which will enable our members to achieve their personal financial objectives, specializing in the function of investment planning.
Provide knowledgeable and friendly advice regarding investment options.
Promote, sell and deliver all investment products and services, including third party mutual funds.
Provide effective portfolio management.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with members.
Contribute towards the growth of the investment portfolio by attaining individual goals and objectives and the development of business opportunities.
Monitor the renewal of maturing investments, ensuring that members receive appropriate notice, advising them of alternative options and assisting them with renewals.
