About The Position

For more than 50 years, Cambridge Associates has advised foundations, endowments, private clients, pensions, government agencies, insurance groups, sovereign wealth funds and healthcare institutions on constructing, managing, and overseeing their investment assets. Requirements

  • BA/BS required
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in related role or broader industry
  • Intellectually curious, self-motivated, and eager to build experience across investments and commercial activities
  • Experience presenting complex topics to clients with varying levels of sophistication across both traditional and alternative asset classes
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, including experience mentoring junior colleagues
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt effectively as needs evolve
  • Strong analytical, technical (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, proprietary systems exposure), project management, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or CFA strongly preferred
  • Familiarly with liability-aware investing is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Construct diversified portfolios with varying investment objectives, policies, and strategic asset allocation strategies in partnership with senior team members for a sophisticated client base
  • Evaluate investment managers across a broad range of asset classes, including public equity, fixed income, private investments, and alternative strategies
  • Communicate directly with client in-house investment staff, investment committees, and boards to develop and present investment recommendations and decisions through clear, high-quality materials
  • Prepare analysis, lead and review the preparation of materials for internal discussions and external client meetings
  • Contribute to team efforts across investment strategy, portfolio management, manager research, marketing, team strategy and business development
  • Mentor and oversee junior colleagues in their career development
