A Brief Overview Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is the nation's first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. Since our start in 1855, CHOP has been the birthplace for countless breakthroughs and dramatic firsts in pediatric medicine. Built on a foundation of delivering safe, high-quality, family-centered care, the Hospital has fostered medical discoveries and innovations that have improved pediatric healthcare and saved countless children's lives. Today, families facing complex conditions come to CHOP from all over the world, and our compassionate care and innovation has repeatedly earned us a spot on the U.S. News & World Report's Honor Roll of the nation's best children's hospitals. CHOP is looking for a Senior Investment Associate Generalist to join the Investment Office. Responsible for managing the Hospital's approximately $5.1 billion endowment, the Investment Office is comprised of a small team that has a large impact on CHOP's long-term mission. The Senior Investment Associate Generalist would be primarily responsible for supporting the team's investment research efforts but will also have a broader impact by recruiting and mentoring talent, conducting in-depth market research, and assisting in portfolio management decisions. This is a generalist position that requires expertise across all asset classes, including public and private investments. In addition to driving investment performance, the Senior Investment Associate Generalist will play an active role in cultivating a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and mentoring junior-level investment personnel, including interns or co-op students. The position requires outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate will also have strong alignment with CHOP's ICARE (Integrity/Compassion/Accountability/Respect/Excellence) values.
