About The Position

The U.S. Real Estate Finance team is looking for an analyst who will work with a team focused on the origination of commercial real estate loans within the Dallas Regional Office. The Analyst will review new investment opportunities, prepare investment analyses, and summarize the key attributes, risks, and merits of potential investments. In addition to supporting new loan originations, the Analyst will be responsible for the annual review, performance monitoring, and ongoing surveillance of existing portfolio loans. The role requires the ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations and effectively communicate findings through Excel models, presentation materials, written reports, and AI-assisted tools. Knowledge of commercial real estate investments (including relevant coursework and/or internship experience) is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required with a preference for a concentration in Finance or Real Estate.
• One to two years of experience in commercial real estate lending, investment, brokerage, appraisal firm, or consulting is preferred, though relevant internship or analyst program experience also considered.
• Clear thinker, creative yet thorough problem-solver, strong research skills.
• Positive attitude, collaborative personality who will work effectively with other team members.
• Ability to work under time pressure, manage multiple tasks, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, organized, proactive, sense of urgency, conscientious, takes pride in providing high quality, accurate work.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and the ability to utilize AI‑assisted tools and other analytical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite commercial real estate for potential mortgage loan investment across multiple property types, including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial.
• Interact with commercial real estate brokers and industry specialists to gather information.
• Prepare investment summaries, financial analyses, and written approval documents.
• Assist with the preparation of annual reviews and ongoing asset‑level monitoring.
• Participate in market research and data collection to support investment decision‑making.
• Travel periodically to primary markets in Texas and the Southwestern U.S.
