The Office of Marketing and Communications is looking for a Senior Internal Communications Strategist. Working closely with the AVP of Strategic Communications and Public Relations, and in collaboration with campus partners, the Internal Communications Strategist develops, manages, and delivers content that informs, engages, and connects members of the Brandeis community. This role is writing- and editing-intensive and requires strong editorial judgment, excellent organizational skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences and platforms. The strategist partners with offices across the university—including Academic Affairs, Human Resources, and Student Affairs—to coordinate messaging, translate institutional priorities into clear, engaging communications, and produce stories and features that strengthen community connection, while serving as the primary lead for internal communications. Candidates for this role should have an understanding of how to identify target audiences and adapt messaging tone and content for the audience type as well as for various communication platforms.This reports to the AVP of Strategic Communications and Public Relations in Marketing Communications and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, including a minimum of three days in person at our campus in Waltham, Massachusetts.
