About The Position
The Senior Interior Designer at Lessard Design is responsible for leading interior design efforts across projects, ensuring design excellence, technical precision, and alignment with project performance goals. Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in interior design or architecture.
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture required.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, and visualization tools.
- Extensive presentation and graphic communication with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and project delivery experience.
- Extensive knowledge of CDs, codes and ADA requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with building amenities projects preferred, typical range of 10,000sf – 20,000sf.
Responsibilities
- Lead interior design from concept through construction administration (SD, DD, CD, CA).
- Develop design direction, finish palettes, and FF&E; strategies aligned with client goals.
- Oversee and produce Revit-based documentation, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and adherence to Lessard Design standards.
- Manage project teams, delegate tasks effectively, mentor junior staff, and serve as a primary client contact.
- Understand and manage project fees, track hours against budgets, and adjust workflows to maintain project profitability.
- Participate in scope development and proposal efforts.
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, site visits, and FF&E; procurement to ensure design intent is executed successfully.
- Support and contribute to new business efforts, including client relationship building, proposal input, and participation in interviews.
- Identify and help generate new project opportunities.
- Develop and manage design direction, design programming, finish palettes, and FF&E; strategies aligned with client goals.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and delivery timelines to ensure high-quality results.
