About The Position

This role is for a passionate Senior Interior Architect/Designer who is driven by the impact of design on people's lives and excels at developing architectural solutions for complex problems. The ideal candidate is collaborative, enjoys teaching and learning from the team, and understands that great design emerges from exploration and idea exchange. They are a proactive, creative problem-solver with strong design leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors while managing multiple projects simultaneously. A deep understanding of technology, building performance, and sustainability strategies in design and construction is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • 10+ years of work experience in an architectural or interior design firm on large commercial office, mixed-use, civic, academic, cultural, or other complex projects.
  • Ability to generate and present initial design concepts.
  • Ability to drive ideas through all phases of design development and implementation.
  • Ability to collaborate on larger-scale projects as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead multiple smaller projects independently.
  • Experience with programming, space planning, workplace strategy, furniture specification, development of mock-ups, and other relevant facets of commercial interior design.
  • Strong understanding of materials, color, lighting, texture, graphics, FF&E, and interior construction.
  • Design and documentation experience using Revit required.

Nice To Haves

  • Rhino, AutoCAD, Grasshopper, Enscape, Lumion and Dynamo experience is desired.
  • Experience in all phases of Architectural services from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation and Construction Administration desired.
  • Licensure or Interior Design Accreditation (or pursuit of) is desired.
  • LEED Accreditation (or pursuit of) and experience with LEED CI desired.

Responsibilities

  • Share portfolio demonstrating design conceptualization, visualization, presentation graphics, and construction documentation.
