About The Position

Chainalysis is hiring a Senior Intelligence Analyst focused on Russia and Eurasia to serve as the Global Intelligence Team’s subject-matter expert on Russian and Eurasian crypto threats. The role owns attribution of Russia’s crypto footprint, investigates how regional actors use cryptocurrency to evade sanctions and move value, and produces intelligence that helps customers understand and act on these threats. The analyst will work with a globally distributed team of analysts, threat-domain experts, data scientists, and engineers. The position focuses on Russian and Eurasian crypto networks and financial infrastructure, including no-KYC exchanges, OTC networks, instant swaps, stablecoin corridors, cross-border payment channels, ransomware and cybercrime flows, and procurement networks for restricted or dual-use goods. The analyst will respond to Russia-related sanctions designations, map networks on-chain, contribute to collection priorities, translate threat typologies into product and customer guidance, and represent Chainalysis externally. The role also involves designing and tuning AI-enabled automation while applying judgment to cases that automation cannot resolve. Chainalysis describes AI fluency as an expectation for all employees: employees are expected to develop their capabilities, take ownership of AI outputs and quality, experiment with available tools, and collaborate to improve how work is done.
