About The Position

The Boeing Company, Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) / Space Mission Systems (SMS) Organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Integrated Product Team Lead - Spacecraft Integration & Test to join our Common Products team in El Segundo, California. This position is considered 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics)
  • 3+ years’ experience working with space hardware
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years’ experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environment
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional Integrated Product Teams supporting spacecraft integration and test activities.
  • Own cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk management for product development and delivery.
  • Conduct daily program meetings and customer briefings to ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Integrate program schedules with resource plans and lead Skyline, Production Control Board, and Integrated Production Review Board forums to resolve resource conflicts.
  • Oversee constraints, capacity, mitigation plans, and capital board requests.
  • Define project scope and decompose work into finite earned value packages in accordance with program and contract requirements.
  • Monitor performance to plan, lead variance analysis, and drive recovery planning.
  • Facilitate quarterly EAC updates and executive management reviews.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to mitigate risks, capture opportunities, and advance lean implementation.
  • Lead program-level issue and change control boards, including ERB, CCB, FRB, and MRB, and ensure gate closures comply with command media and program requirements.
  • Summarize cost and schedule performance to support affordability metrics and future business capture efforts.
