About The Position

Ever-Green Energy is seeking a team member to maintain, repair, calibrate, install, and troubleshoot all plant control/measurement equipment (electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and electromechanical) to ensure full and efficient operation of the plants. This role performs the responsibilities of a Senior I&C position for the company, in accordance with company standards. Requirements

  • BAS/BMS, PLC, HMI and Instrumentation and Control formal training.
  • 3-5 years’ experience performing comparable duties in a similar industrial plant setting.
  • Strong in Instrumentation and Controls.
  • Valid driver's license required and a clear driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Daily alarm monitoring, perform backups of control logic, database files, and graphics. Software and Patching, schedule and setpoint reviews.
  • Hardware inspections, tighten connections, battery replacement, and cleaning of physical controllers.
  • Override verifications, perform troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration and testing on all plant control/measurement equipment including wiring. Repair and replace faulty control/measurement equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Determine the reason for unexpected malfunctions or occurrences in plant operations and take appropriate action to correct any electrical and/or instrumentation problems involved.
  • Help maintain a testing laboratory and test/repair all plant control and measurement equipment in order to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant.
  • Ensure parts for plant control and measurement equipment and consumables are ordered so replacements are available as needed.
  • Perform major and minor installation of equipment.
  • Respond to off-hour calls for plant emergencies.
  • Lead or assist vendors, as required, in conducting predictive and preventive maintenance tests and diagnostics as directed by the General Manager or Plant Superintendent.
  • Review plant modifications and projects, as requested, to ensure compatibility with existing plant and conformance with plant requirements and standards.
  • Layout and plan control/measurement installations and other electrical work and coordinate work with engineering, operations and other maintenance disciplines.
  • Support plant operations, including operating the Thermal Plant, as assigned by the Plant Superintendent or General Manager.
  • Perform other tasks as directed.
