Requirements

  • Support industrial electrical and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail in troubleshooting, calibration, and documentation
  • Analytical mindset for diagnosing electrical and control system faults
  • High level of safety awareness when working around energized equipment
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with maintenance and production teams
  • Ability to adapt to urgent repairs and shifting priorities
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Formal training or 3+ years of experience in electrical, controls, or instrumentation maintenance
  • Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, drives, three-phase systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to troubleshoot 4–20 mA loops, transmitters, and electro-pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and update P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, and industrial electrical standards
  • Competency with maintenance software tools and documentation systems

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, motors, transformers, and three-phase electrical systems
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and utility equipment
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot flow, temperature, weight, and pressure devices, including 4–20 mA loops and electro-pneumatic controls
  • Interpret and update P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI systems
  • Follow NFPA 70E, NEC, and company safety standards including lockout/tagout procedures
  • Communicate equipment status and complete maintenance documentation
