About The Position

Dominion Energy is seeking a Senior Instructor for their Nuclear Chemistry technical training program. This role involves developing instructional materials and conducting training, requiring in-depth knowledge of instructional design theory and expertise in the technical area. The incumbent will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training in classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job settings. A key responsibility is maintaining training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements. Military service members and veterans with specific ranks and experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

12+ years of related experience OR; Certified Instructor (including 5+ years of experience) OR; RO or SRO (including 5+ years of experience) OR; Sr Instructor Training Cert from Dominion (including 5+ years of experience)
In-depth knowledge of instructional theory and design and SAT
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good personal computer skills
Ability to operate various instrumentation and controls
Problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze and develop training materials
Ability to train and lead others
Ability to interface with regulatory personnel and industry peers
Informal leadership skills
Ability to effectively communicate with regulators
High school diploma
Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Minimum of 0.25 years of nuclear power plant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience
Certified as a qualified instructor for the material being presented
For instructors of licensed personnel providing simulator instruction: shall hold, or shall have held, a senior operator's license or have been certified for equivalent senior operator knowledge.

Responsibilities
