About The Position

The E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University invites applications for a Senior Instructor (Marketing) position in the Flores MBA Program. This is a non-tenure-track, 9-month academic year position with a three-year renewable term based on performance and program needs. Opportunities for promotion in instruction, non-tenure rank are available. The typical teaching load for this position is 4/4.

Requirements

• PhD in Business or Marketing; DBA, or a PhD in a closely related field
• 6+ years of university teaching experience
• Evidence of effective classroom teaching
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality in-person MBA instruction on LSU's campus.

Nice To Haves

• Significant recent experience in marketing management or related roles
• Previous experience teaching or advising MBA students
• Subject matter expertise and professional experience in areas such as advertising and promotion, brand and product management, digital marketing, sports marketing, marketing communications, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Teaching graduate level courses in the Flores MBA program. (8 courses per academic year)
