Our out-of-school time (OST) and summer programs are designed to empower students to embrace their genius, establish a sense of community, and explore learning activities that enhance their health, well-being, and future opportunities. This is done through hands-on project-based learning, interactive STEM experiments, and real-world problem-solving. Under the supervision of the Director of Programs, the Senior Instructional Supervisor of STEM Education & Curriculum is a newly established position for a candidate who can hit the ground running and is eager to immediately contribute to our expanding team. This role focuses on the design of engaging OST learning materials, training internal staff and community partners, and integrating our initiatives into the wider Pittsburgh STEM ecosystem. We are looking for an individual with a robust command of youth-focused technology resources who is passionate about STEM and dedicated to launching innovative learning opportunities for our community. Our work culture is collaborative, student-centered, and community forward. Neighborhood Learning Alliance is looking for a candidate that is team-oriented, an innovative curriculum designer, and an exceptional mentor capable of developing both our program staff and a diverse cohort of student interns.
