About The Position

The role independently designs and conducts studies that address leaders’ questions, selecting appropriate research designs, data sources, and statistical methods. It consults with campus partners to clarify information needs, scope requests, and recommend data collection strategies, including surveys. The analyst serves as lead analyst for one or more data domains, such as students, faculty, courses, or surveys, and handles recurring reporting and external submissions. It also uses AI, automation, and other emerging analytic tools to streamline work, shares effective approaches with the team, guides and trains other analysts, and represents the University with consortia and data-sharing partners. IRIS works on cross-functional initiatives including unit strategic plans, administrative unit reviews, institutional data reporting, and innovation design and implementation.
