About The Position

Conducts research studies and prepares analytical reports on a variety of administrative and academic topics. Completes information requests and prepares official reports for federal and state government agencies and other organizations. The position is grant funded through 9/30/28.

Nice To Haves

Three years of full-time or equivalent experience working with SAS, SPSS, or R.
Three years of full-time or equivalent experience working as a data analyst.
Experience working with the Ellucian Colleague environment.
Three years of full-time or equivalent experience working in data analysis in a higher education setting.
Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Responsibilities

Assist with developing, administering, and conducting research and evaluation studies, and write reports associated with those studies.
Organize, compile, analyze, interpret, and present institutional data related to resource allocation, staffing, and learning and program outcomes.
Analyze data, write reports, and prepare recommendations regarding program development, instruction, policy development, and strategic planning; provide data to planning units as requested.
Create standard reports for items on the Office’s Research Agenda and other reports as needed to improve institutional effectiveness planning.
Fulfill ad-hoc data requests and reporting requirements.
Prepare and deliver written and oral presentations summarizing research data, findings, and recommendations.
Analyze information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Develop questionnaires, web-based surveys, and sampling strategies designed to produce reliable data.
Apply knowledge of complex mathematical and statistical computations to produce quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Interact effectively with the college community and external constituencies.
Serve on standing committees as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
