About The Position

This position is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of accounts and is responsible for building strong client relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client’s needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree or two (2) years’ work experience in a specific area/field.
  • Two (2) years of experience managing large account portfolios.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills including active listening.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States; unable to provide sponsorship.
  • Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of automation tools, such as Esker, Innowera, and SAP mass tools preferred.
  • Experience in the aerospace, military, and defense industry, or cable assembly business preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Other duties as required in support of the department and the company
