Senior Inpatient Case Manager- Registered Nurse
About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring an experienced Senior Inpatient Case Manager RN to focus on complex cases! This is a full-time position with day shifts, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call commitments that include holidays and weekends. The Senior Inpatient Case Manager RN assumes responsibility, accountability, and leadership for the daily operations, including coordination of work, quality, and service for inpatient case management. They will assist the supervisor for the assigned site/function, participate in the work activities of assigned teams, and provide case management services as needed. This role maintains fiscal accountability for departmental activities and provides feedback on hiring and evaluations of personnel. The practice setting is exclusively in hospitals.
Requirements
- RN-Bachelor's Degree OR RN-Master's Degree OR RN-Doctorate Degree
- Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State – Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- 3 years of nursing experience
- Case Management (ACM, CCM, CCCTM, CMAC or CMGT-BC) certification required within one year of eligibility
