About The Position

This role is responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of projects and programs involving multiple infrastructure workstreams. The Senior Infrastructure Technical Project Manager will identify and manage risks, issues, actions, and dependencies, coordinating mitigation and resolution across teams. This includes developing detailed delivery plans, project documentation, and status reporting, as well as coordinating across local, regional, and global initiatives with virtual and matrix-managed teams. The role also involves facilitating project governance, tracking actions, plans, risks, and issues, and building integrated project plans. Additionally, the position requires developing and executing migration and cutover plans, ensuring adherence to project lifecycle and quality controls, creating executive-level communications, managing senior stakeholders, and tracking a large set of risks and remediation plans. Experience with data center and application migrations, including dependency coordination and operational readiness, is also key.

Requirements

  • Project management experience delivering IT infrastructure initiatives using Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of (and ability to work across) end-user technology, compute/server platforms, networking (voice and data), cloud, data centers, and application/Infra technologies.
  • Hands-on technical depth in one or more of the areas listed above.
  • Merger and technology integration experience.
  • Excellent written communication, documentation, and status reporting skills.
  • Ability to indirectly manage virtual team members across diverse cultures and locations.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects concurrently.
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills and project planning tools (e.g., MS Project), AI tools, BI tools
  • Ability to define, develop, and track delivery metrics and outcomes.
  • Proactive and positive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Sound background in adhering to business processes and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work independently; self-motivated with a strong team orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile certifications, or equivalent recognized professional standards).
  • Financial industry experience, preferably Tier 1 investment banking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain integrated project plans in partnership with multiple technical delivery teams.
  • Develop and execute migration and cutover plans (including rehearsal, rollback, and service validation).
  • Ensure adherence to project lifecycle, quality controls, and policy/standards requirements.
  • Create and deliver executive-level communications at the project and program level.
  • Own senior stakeholder management, communications, and timely escalation of key decisions and blockers.
  • Track, monitor, and report a large set of risks and remediation plans across infrastructure workstreams.
  • Lead planning and execution for data center and application migrations, including dependency coordination and operational readiness.
