About The Position

We are looking for a self-starting individual with experience working in large environments using the concept of infrastructure as code. This person must be both eager to help enhance a market-leading business and be passionate about the mobile space. The role requires a self-directed individual who is comfortable with the demands of building, evolving and maintaining a stable high-availability infrastructure.

Requirements

• Linux Server Administration (Preferably Ubuntu based)
• Server and Application Automation Frameworks (Puppet preferred)
• Operation of Large Scale Web-services on Multi-tier SOA Platforms
• MySQL Administration and Tuning
• Amazon Webservices (EC2, RDS, SES, SNS, etc)
• Openstack or Heavy Self-Hosted Virtualization Experience (VMWare, Xen, KVM, XCP)
• Network Architecture and Administration (Routing, Switching 1GbE/10GbE, Firewalls)
• Ruby and Shell Scripting

Nice To Haves

• NoSQL (Cassandra, Monogo, Hbase, Redis)
• Perl, Python Scripting and Modularization
• Mobile or Ad Network Experience
• Mac OS X End-User Administration
• Large Dataset Management Expertise
• SAN Management Experience
• Disaster Recovery and Capacity Planning

Responsibilities

• Continued evolution of infrastructure automation systems both in-house and in production
• Ongoing responsibility for the health of the production system
• Work with developers to ensure capacity for future projects and new technologies where appropriate
• Innovate and iterate on existing processes and procedures to make things simpler
• Help grow the company internationally through new deployments and expansions
