About the position
Envoy is seeking exceptional engineers to join their team and drive innovation in the workplace. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing Cloud-based solutions, managing and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure, and providing technical leadership to junior engineers. They should also be proficient in managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform and be able to respond to incidents and outages. Responsibilities
- Design and implement Cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of the business
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, including optimizing resource usage, implementing monitoring, and troubleshooting issues
- Develop and implement Kubernetes best practices, policies, procedures, tools, and frameworks
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, including mentoring, training, and support
- Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including provisioning, automating changes, and monitoring performance
- Be on call to respond to incidents and outages, including identifying and resolving issues, communicating with customers and stakeholders, and documenting incidents
- Contribute to a positive work environment, including helping team members, taking on new challenges, and learning new things
- Have 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Have 1+ years of experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters
- Have 3+ years of experience with Terraform
- Have experience with container orchestration
